LabVIEW Rules of Thumb

  14. Local and Global Variables => Use 1 Write, Many Reads
  15. Use Wait (ms)
  16. The Consumer Loop must run faster than the Producer Loop to avoid overflowing the Queue
  17. Code inside an Event case must run fast to avoid slow user interface response.
  18. Use "Value Change" Event
  19. User Error Wire to enforce execution order
  20. Use "Application Directory" VI for Relative File calls.
